My teenage daughter once asked me what a financial advisor really did for people. I was proud that she was taking an interest, so I started to explain that I really loved getting to know people, learning what is important to them and helping them to get where they want to go. After I was done with my description, she raised her eyebrows, smiled, and said, "It sounds like you're a therapist for people and their money." With that, she turned and concluded the conversation with "Thanks Dad," and walked away without a second thought. I love that story.

As a third generation Alaskan with roots on the Kenai Peninsula, I am honored to serve clients in my hometown as a financial advisor. My wife and I have raised five children here in the local area, and our extended family continues to call the Kenai home. We enjoy time with family, serving in our church and getting outdoors for camping as much as possible.

Since graduating college as a mechanical engineer, I have worked many years in engineering, inspection and operations with petro-chemical and refining companies in the local area. Prior to joining Edward Jones, I was leading an operations team at the refinery in Nikiski. I believe that I have a unique insight into the lifestyle and financial needs of folks who work hard in the Oil and Gas industry in Alaska.
