Kenai Peninsula Food Bank (KPFB) : Feeding Bellies, Fueling Community
At the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank (KPFB), we do more than just hand out food - we dish out hope, dignity, and second helping of kindness to anyone in need. Think of us as the Peninsula's Pantry superheroes, turning surplus into sustenance, one meal at a time.
From our Fireweed Diner, where a hot meal comes with a side of community, to our food rescue programs that turn "waste" into "what's for dinner?", KPFB is all about reducing hunger, cutting food waste, and proving that generosity is the secret ingredient to a thriving town.
No one should have to choose between groceries and gas money- so we make sure families, seniors and folks down on their luck have access to fresh, nutritious foods, no questions asked. Whether we're stocking food pantries, running mobile distributions, or launching new projects like catering and cooking classes, our mission is clear: nourish, empower, and build a stronger Soldotna and Kenai Peninsula- one full plate at a time.
Want to help? Donate, volunteer, or just stop by Fireweed Diner for a meal and a chat- because at KPFB, the best communities are built around the table.
