Company info: Andeavor, formerly Tesoro, opened its first refinery in Nikiski, Alaska in 1969. Now, with 10 refineries, a refining capacity of approximately 1.2 million barrels per day, an extensive logistics network, approximately 3,000 retail locations and more than 13,000 talented employees, Andeavor is a premier refining, marking, and logistics company in the western United States. In addition to the Alaska, refineries are also located in California, Washington, Utah, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Texas. The Nikiski refinery has a crude capacity of 72,000 barrels per day and produces gasoline and gasoline blendstocks, jet fuel, diesel fuel, heating oil and heavy fuel oils, propane and asphalt. Crude oil is delivered by double-hulled tankers through Cook Inlet and by pipeline from the Kenai Peninsula and Cook Inlet. A 68-mile, 42,000 bpd common-carrier products pipeline transports jet fuel, gasoline, and diesel fuel to the Port of Anchorage and the Anchorage International Airport. Rail operations transport refined product to terminals at the Fairbanks International Airport and in North Pole. Wholesale delivery occurs through terminals in Kenai, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Andeavor's Nikiski dock, and the Port of Anchorage. Alaska employees: approximately 250 in Nikiski, Kenai, Anchorage, and Fairbanks Retail gas stations: Andeavor currently sells under multiple retail brands, including Exxon, Mobil, Shell, and Tesoro. We will continue to sell under the Tesoro name as a strong retail brand.
